Alix currently lives and works in Arkansas, as an Equine Business and Life Coach with Fresh Start Life Solutions. Additionally, she is the lead consultant for the Equine Specialists aspect of the business. Although Alix may live in Arkansas, she tends to travel throughout the year and annually makes it back to SoFl where her family is native. Alix began riding at the age of 5. (Fun Fact: At Myrland Stables!) She continued riding and showing hunter/jumpers at a local level until graduating from Western High School. Unsure of academic goals, she moved to Tampa and began her freshman year of undergrad working for a morgan show barn, West Coast Morgans. She began riding saddle seat and western pleasure. When working at the Tampa Charity Horse Show, she was recruited by an equestrian college in Missouri called William Woods University. During her time at the university, Alix worked as a groom and exerciser for a variety of Morgan and Saddlebred show barns. 

Alix graduated from William Woods University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication, with an emphasis in Public Relations. She also studied Equine Administration and Leadership while she was there. Upon graduation, Alix moved to Little Rock, Arkansas and worked in a handful of digital and traditional ad agencies. Eventually, her path took her from Stone Ward to South Florida, where she worked for Zimmerman. Her client roster from over the years has hit a variety of industries; from regional independent jewelers to Kay Jewelers, from regional hospitals in Arkansas to Blue Cross Blue Shield Arkansas, from Goodwill Arkansas to national PR stunts like “Love Little Rock”, and from tier 3 automotive dealers to Sam’s Club. Currently, Alix owns her own digital and branding agency called The Social Bit. This venture has allowed her to come full circle, aligning her passions with a marketing niche geared to the equestrian industry.
