It is easy to feel alone in life at times, but we want to remind you that while your experiences are unique, there are others who may be going through something similar to you. Our groups meet regularly to share and grow with one another, providing its members with multiple perspectives, as well as inspiration, to reach your therapeutic goal(s).
Fall 2022/ Spring 2023 Groups
Social Skills
Led by Brenna.
Nongender specific we will assess placement after intake call/in-person meet and greet.
Ages Groups 2-4, Ages 5-7, Ages 8-10, Ages 11-13, Ages 14-16, Ages 17-19, Ages 20-23, Ages 25-30, Ages 30-40, Ages 40+
What to expect: Learn age-appropriate behavior and reciprocity.
Parents of ADHD
Led by Brenna.
Parents of kids break into groups based on their ages: 0-Preschool, K-3, Grades 4-6, Grades 7-8, Grades 9-12
What to expect: Flexible to be virtual, in-person, or hybrid. Groups to meet monthly. The groups will alternate weeks which will allow the opportunity to sit in on an older/ younger group if you miss or need extra support. A place to learn and gain community with other families working through similar milestones. You will also learn to manage healthy expectations and coping tips.
Older Teenagers (15-19) Social Skills
Led by Dalia.
Bi-weekly group for teenagers struggling with school stress, anxiety, and/or wanting to work on improving their social skills.
What to expect: A safe space to create genuine connections with peers through interactive activities and engaging conversation
Older Teenagers (15-19) Life Skills
Led by Dalia.
Members: teenagers (juniors/seniors in high school) & young adults
What to expect: help and guidance in learning how to look for jobs, apply for jobs, prepare for interviews, and/or apply to college. Through a safe space, full of support for those navigating or about to navigate, the transition to college/adult life. Full of engaging conversations, practice, and coaching, group members will be able to share this rather difficult time with other peers going through the same things, as they learn with and from each other.
Siblings of ASD Middle School

Members: Middle School students
What to expect: a space to connect with others their age, to explore at their own pace the relationships with parents, siblings, responsibilities, the future, and more.
Siblings of ASD High School *Dalia

What to expect: a space to connect with others their age and to explore, at their own pace, relationships with parents, relationships with siblings, responsibilities, the future, and more.
Book Club Parenting Edition
Led by Dalia.
Members: Expecting parents
What to expect: Most, if not all, expecting parents read or watch on social media different approaches and techniques for parenting and try their best to figure out “what is the best one”. Through this small group, we are providing a safe space to explore this, sometimes overwhelming, world together with other soon-to-be parents. We will read different parenting books and explore different approaches, as we discuss through engaging conversation and support from other expecting parents.
Becoming More Mindful: Beginners Mindfulness Group
Led by Ciara.
Ages: Older adolescents-young adults (17-23) *targeting colleges & high school students
What to expect: Engaging in facilitated guided meditations and mindful discussions, check-ins, mindful sharing, reflection, practicing mindfulness learning skills, mindful listening, positive affirmations, intentions, breath-work, somatic experiencing, mindfulness exercises, and activities.
Objectives/Takeaways: Learn to incorporate mindfulness practices into daily lives, mindfulness coping skills & tips, techniques, and resources.
Promotes being more mindful and present, emotional wellness, self-awareness, self-acceptance, self-compassion, self-regulation, and self-care. Connect to others, manage difficult thoughts and feelings, decrease emotional reactivity, stress, and anxiety reduction, and increase focus and ability to manage and gain insight and understanding to yourself and others
Standouts: Group leader facilitates a guided meditation each meeting using a variety of meditation scripts providing imagery, and cues, and incorporating a calming space and meditative music in each meeting
Offering start-of-day (morning) or end-of-day (evening) times for group meetings as a standout!... if that is not desirable or doable for group members meeting at other times is still great (anytime you can meditate is a good time!)
Open to offering virtual meetings as an option, especially for those interested in start-end of-day meeting times
Dating Support for Young Women
Led by Ciara.
Ages: Singles in ’20s-’30s *targeting college/ postsecondary grads, career-launching
What to expect: Are you currently dating, considering dating, and could use some support? Have you ever felt nervous, anxious, or stressed about dating? Burnt out from swiping on dating apps? Do you struggle to make the first move, start conversations, express interest, and engage, interact, and respond to dating matches and potential dates? You are not alone. For singles looking to be amongst other singles who relate, who are dating or wanting to be dating and want to get some support navigating the challenges of modern-day dating
Objectives/ Takeaways: Dating from start to finish. Build self-confidence and self-esteem, learn to cope, and manage dating anxieties, explore your relational patterns, learn attachment styles and their relation to your dating, talk about your date experiences, learn to hold conversations, express your interests, and determine what you are looking for in a relationship, identify your needs and values, recognize red and green flags in potential relationships, setting and respecting boundaries
Standouts: Are you in need of motivation to engage in online and in-person dating? Ever felt dating app fatigue?
During meetings we will address swiping fatigue and will designate time to utilize dating apps, encourage and feed off group members to formulate responses and reply to potential daters, practice putting yourself out there, and restore a sense of accountability and community to your dating journey and make it enjoyable and fun.
Reentering the Dating Scene: Women’s Group

Ages: For single women in ’30s-’40s after the end of a long-term relationship or divorce
What to expect: Are you considering going back to the dating scene? Wondering how you can reenter the dating world after a divorce or end of a relationship? Feeling nervous about dating again? Discuss relevant topics singles commonly encounter while dating, navigate the challenges and changes of modern-day dating, and talk about your dating experiences, concerns, successes fails, and struggles of your dating journey.
Objectives/ Takeaways: Being a part of a dating group will help you ease back into dating and prepare for dating again. Learn ways to manage and adjust, share experiences, and relate to others, mutual support, process your dates and any challenges, gain confidence focus on self-love, build your self-esteem, develop dating and coping skills, set boundaries, learn your love languages, learn to maintain healthy romantic relationships, manage rejection, practice mindful dating, navigating dating apps, identify your needs, values, non-negotiables
Standouts: Prepare your online dating platform and dating profile on the dating sites with support and assistance.
Social Anxiety: Strengthening Social Skills
Ages: Young Teens (12-15)
What to expect: Do you experience discomfort around others and in social settings? Do you avoid social situations or struggle socializing with peers? Focus on lowering anxiety, building self-esteem, and skills needed to develop and maintain healthy relationships. This group involves group discussions on relevant topics, exercises, and experiential activities
Objectives/ Takeaways: Overcome the anxiety felt in social situations, develop coping strategies to reduce and manage anxiety symptoms and stress, explore fears and worries, challenge negative thoughts, address avoidance, and attachment, practice relationship-building skills, social communication skills, building connections, increase self-esteem, self-worth, and confidence, share, interact, and receive support from others who are also struggling with anxious feelings
Standouts: Practice facing social fears in a supportive group setting that incorporates activities and games. There is growing evidence that practicing and refining these skills is more effective when done in group formats.
